Sleek Creme2Powder Terracotta

Sleek Terracotta

I recently treated myself to some new Sleek products. This time around I thought I would try their foundations. As my friend has started to use the Creme 2 Powder I figured I would start there. Plus Boots had a nice sale on which made my purchase even more affordable.

Trying to work out your shade from online digital swatches and comparing videos and what not was a task.  I narrowed it down to about 3 shades and went into a shop to do a swatch test. I bought Terracotta which seems like a really good match almost perfect in fact. It does not have as much yellow as I am used to so I went ahead and bought one more shade called Noisette. Surprisingly this shade difference seems to make me look slightly ashy when applying. Once it oxidises its alright and in  pics I look ok and I can use powders to correct this if need be.

I have tried Sleek Powders before and have been satisfied with them. I opted for two different powders this time. The Suede Effect Powder in shade 02 and the Pressed Powder in Tropical Bronze. I have no complaints. Considering I have purchased more expensive brands these work just fine.

Sleek blushers are worth every penny. Pomegranate is a lovely purply red, could even be described as a medium berry red. It truly embodies its namesake. I love wearing it. Antique is a bronze shade that contains silver shimmer pieces. On brown skin silver shimmer can look ashy so I have to make sure not to use a heavy hand. Overall I am happy with my purchases.
